In 2017 more than 180,000 trees were cut down as Polish government ignored UNESCO pleas to halt the logging in the center of Europe’s last primeval forest – Bialowieza. Together with a group of design students, I prepared three posters and joined the environmental activists protesting against the governmental actions. These three works were presented in the area of Bialowieza and later on spread out to people protesting in other cities of Poland.
In 2020, the battle for saving Bialowieza is still ongoing.
